Intro:

This blog was created by 2 American missionaries living in Zambia: Fr Abraham & Dalia Fam.
The reason this blog was created to encourage all Coptic Orthodox Christian believers to fulfill the great commission of “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” Matthew 28:19
Of course any believer can gain from these experiences.
This blog is based on the mission experiences we gained while serving in Africa for the last 13 years.
Mission has really been a focus for us early on, even while living in America.
We are learning everyday how to grow the mission of Christ. We are by no means experts but felt compelled by God to share what we have learned so far.
We pray we can start to incorporate more mission & evangelism in all our churches and our own personal life.
We believe that every Christian is a missionary and every Church is a mission church.
Mission won’t happen by chance but needs to be an intentional part of our church life and our own daily life.
We believe that all Coptic Orthodox Christians and churches should “Go”.
Not to stay still and be satisfied with only keeping existing members but reaching to all the communities and all nations as Christ said in the great commission.
We have a motto: “Mission Everywhere to Everyone”

Bible Verses focused on Go

“Go” up the mountain and receive from Him:

Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Micah 4:2

Jesus is the model of “Go”

“The Spirit of the Lord God isupon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; Isaiah 61:1
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matthew 9:35

“Go” & Preach

And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Matthew 10:7
